The department has a fully equipped labour room with round-the-clock nurse services for arriving clients, while one operation theatre is dedicated and attached to the labour room for gynaecological surgeries.

The department's Senior Consultant specialises in laparoscopy, runs an infertility clinic, and provides specialised care to pregnant women with coexisting medical conditions such as diabetes mellitus and hypertension. The department also provides laparoscopic surgical facilities to its consumers. The department also provides services for pain-free delivery.

Al-Barkat Trust Hospital introduced a fully equipped emergency department with five beds, two of which have heart monitoring technology. The emergency department handles:

  • Basic treatment before referral to tertiary care hospitals.
